2001- Researcher. Working to identify the causative gene for the red mutant phenotype in two hybrid strains of red tilapia. Genetics Program and Hubbard Center for Genome Studies, University of New Hampshire

2001-2003 DNA Sequencing Facility Technician. Responsible for all aspects of DNA synthesis, automated DNA sequencing, and microsatellite genotyping for the core facility. Genetics Program, University of New Hampshire

1997-2001 Research technician. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the flow cytometry lab and seasonal oyster hatchery support. Under the supervision of Standish K. Allen, Jr. Aquaculture Genetics & Breeding Technology Center, Virginia Institute of Marine Science, The College of William and Mary.
