Digital PCR is used to look at the absolute quantities of a particular gene, fragment or adapter in a sample. HCGS currently uses digital PCR to quantify the absolute amount of Illumina-adapted library in three library prep types: TruSeq, Nextera and TruSeq Small RNA. Custom TaqMan probes can be designed and provided to use for custom assays using LifeTech’s online system.
